MY STORY

Hi, my name is Joanne, and I run Fern Heights from my workshop in Ashland, OR. With a passion for plants and a commitment to environmental stewardship, I recognized a gap in the market for ethically made planters. Through extensive research, I discovered that PLA, a durable and non-toxic material, was ideal for creating indoor planters.

Initially, I planned to partner with local 3D printing businesses, but to reduce costs, I decided to invest in my own equipment. After a year of research and development, I mastered 3D modeling and printing, allowing me to bring my designs to life.

In 2022, I launched my first collection of unique planters under Fern Heights LLC. Today, Fern Heights offers 20 original designs, from lifelike head planters to bold, organic statement pieces. Each one is crafted with attention to detail and quality, using non-toxic, 100% USA-made materials. Looking to the future, I plan to continue experimenting and expanding my collection with more playful and innovative designs.
